Once a baby gets past that first helpless 6-9 months and starts to walk and talk, the process of conformity begins. Only the lucky few truly break free. It’s sad, but even many, many ‘successful’ people really didn’t spend a great deal of time discovering and honing their true talents or uncovering their true reason for being here.
You can see it in the wealth management advertisements. They paint these pictures of what their clients really want to do when they grow up. It’s sad that we think that our profession needs to be what we do to earn money and then when we have the time, money and health, we can finally get back to who we were supposed to be. One of the many unfortunate consequences is that most people run out of all three and never get there.
No matter what you are doing now to earn a living, you can begin to infuse your true talent and mission. Infusing both into your business or career can separate your from the pack of the average. It will serve to motivate and inspire you and it will also inspire others.
All of that adds up to attracting attention. Attention to you, your business, your product, and your service….remarkable attention…to you.
