Actually it’s not something they do, it’s WHY they do it. Great leaders get clear with their personal motivations and they focus their efforts on a cause that supports those motivations.
Their passion and regular communication get people around them excited about supporting their crusade.
Nothing big gets done by just one person. Big things take big groups. And big groups require big motivations.
The key to leading people to do something great is a great reason. We all come factory equipped with a great reason. Unfortunately we don’t come with a tag telling us what it is.
Remarkable leadership is rare because self-awareness is rare. Get clear on what motivates you, create your cause and get to work sharing it. With a compelling enough cause, there will be plenty of resources to help you get it done.

Toby, great message, but what are the ten things?
Hi Ken, It was a little bit of a play on the ‘usual’ leadership lists that nearly always leave out the most important part, ‘The Why’. Unfortunately too many people confuse real leadership with a more charismatic form of management manipulation. Leadership comes from the heart.
